A “eureka” moment
In 1995 in Germany, a carpenter named Gernot Ehrlich, by accident, found a precious “eureka” moment. After finishing a working day, he was cleaning the workshop. What is super thin natural stone veneer Adal Stone®?
Adal Stone® is 100% natural stone veneers with the following layers:
- The surface is purely natural stone. Even though being super thin (a thinness of ~0.1mm could be achieved, as thin as a paper), it retains all the beauty and uniqueness of stone textures that other artificial stones are impossible to replicate.
- The next layer is the “eureka” spcecial compound which retains all the stone elements together. This special compound is patented by the Germans kept as a tight secret.
- The fiberglass layer is used to make the stone and compound layers durable, further enhancing the connection of all the stone elements. Also, it helps prevent the stone layer to crack during peeling process.
- The back of the Adal Stone® is enhanced with resin or fabric depending on the series.

- Slim Cover: this is the most rigid stone veneer with lowest price range. Its thickness varies from 1.5-2mm. It is suitable for interior and exterior applications, mainly on flat surface or slightly curved surfaces.
